A Huge Success!

The Cwm Rhondda Chapter No. 9692 proudly announces the successful completion of its annual Installation Ceremony, held at the RAFA Pub, Treorchy, on the 16th April 2026, with over 40 Companions in attendance. This esteemed event marked the installation of Robert Smith as the First Principal and Peter Glyn Jones as Second Principal and Kevin Reid as Third Principle of the Chapter, alongside the appointment of other officers for the upcoming year.

The ceremony, steeped in tradition, was attended by a significant number of very distinguished guests, including the Second Provincial Grand Principal E.Companion Simon K.S. Daniel, PGStB, Third Provincial Grand Principal, E.Companion Philip Bevan, PGStB. There were also in attendance, a goodly number of Grand and Provincial Officers.

During the after proceedings, the Second Provincial Grand Principal E.Companion Simon K.S. Daniel congratulated the Installing Zerubbabel E.Companion Raymond Hanney, also congratulating all of the Companions involved in the ceremony, of the extremely high standard of ritual that was in evidence throughout the evening, which took place without any notes, books or prompts

The evening concluded with a delightful festive gathering that was enjoyed by all, where attendees celebrated the Chapter’s achievements with heartfelt toasts and shared their vision for the future.
