A Huge Success!

The Cwm Rhondda Chapter No9692 proudly announces the successful completion of its annual Installation Ceremony, held at the RAFA Pub, Treorchy, on the 17th April 2025, with over 53 Companions in attendance. This esteemed event marked the installation of Raymond Hanney as the First Principal and Peter Glyn Jones as Third Principal of the Chapter, alongside the appointment of other officers for the upcoming year.

The ceremony, steeped in tradition, was attended by a significant number of very distinguished guests, including The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent E.Companion Paul R. Clement, Second Provincial Grand Principal E.Companion Simon K.S. Daniel, PGStB, Third Provincial Grand Principal, E.Companion Philip Bevan, PGStB, as well as the Past Deputy Grand Superintendent for West Lancashire E.Companion Paul Renton, PGSwdB. Also in attendance were a goodly number of Grand and Provincial Officers.

At the after proceedings, the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent E.Companion Paul R. Clement, congratulated the Installing Zerubbabel E.Companion Huw Carmichael and the Installing Joshua E.Companion Philip Hanney and all of the Companions involved in the ceremony, of the extremely high standard of ritual that was in evidence throughout the evening, which took place without any notes, books or prompts

Companion Dean Lear then presented The Grand Superintendent with a hand made wooden bottle holder engraved with the details of the night and his title. The Grand Superintendent responded with thanks and commented on the quality of gift. The evening concluded with a delightful festive gathering that was enjoyed by all, where attendees celebrated the Chapter’s achievements with heartfelt toasts and shared their vision for the future.
